I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and I obtained my degree in photography at Istituto Europeo di Design IED Milan in 2023. I work at the intersection of photography, performance, and video experimentation.
My practice explores belonging and identity, as well as race and gender representation and its relation to post-colonialism heritage and the social dynamics of power. To approach these subjects, I base my research on queer and feminist theory.
My current project looks at female trauma regarding sexuality, and how feminist perspectives and somatic practices can have a healing effect through collective acts of sisterhood.
In my work, I seek to explore the intersection of race, gender, and identity by developing projects that span both art and fashion.
